Recording and post-Labcast discussion

Simon Sheridan, instrument scientist for the Philae comet-lander and AL for SXPA288, was online in his Lab, joined by Nicholas Braithwaite from the SXPA288 module team for an experiment on measuring the mass of molecules on Wed 7th Jan 2015 at 7.30 pm. They demonstrated the key features of a mass spectrometer and Simon showed how he and the Philae team squeezed a cubic metre or so of bench top equipment into a shoebox. The cometary exploration that Rosetta and its lander Philae has been doing are right at the limit of practical science at a distance.

[The labcast format allows some interaction with the presenters during and after the transmission. Recording may not run in IE8].
