The OpenLiving Laboratory

Urban environments can be home to a surprising amount of wildlife, much of which we don’t often see. With the decline in biodiversity across the country due to habitat loss, urban environments are also being seen as providing important habitats to mitigate this loss. We have placed several wildlife cameras in the woodland and riparian areas of the OpenLiving Lab to investigate what wildlife is present in the area, and to monitor any changes over time.
